• White keys (natural notes: C D E F G A B)
• Black keys (sharps/flats in groups of 2 and 3)
• Middle C — the center of the keyboard
• Octave — 12 keys from one C to the next
Sit at proper height: forearms parallel to floor, wrists straight, feet flat.
